Powermaster has now supplied low noise chillers for installation at over 65 Marks & Spencer Stores.

The majority of the projects have involved the wholesale renovation of existing cooling plant with air cooled water chillers and condensing units. The new equipment runs on updated, CFC replacement refrigerants which have been installed to take over from outdated indoor chillers and cooling towers.

Climaveneta chillers were the ideal, cost effective choice to satisfy the Marks & Spencer design and performance criteria. Low operating noise was a key factor behind specification since the chillers are now installed outside and the majority of stores are on high street, city centre locations. The Climaveneta chillers incorporate screw compressors which are located within a specially designed, internal soundproofed compartment, ensuring the units operate at a low noise level at or below the specified noise requirement.

Our chillers include air cooled chillers in capacities from 30kW to 1350kW and water-cooled chillers in capacities from 130kW to 2500kW to suit both small-scale and larger commercial and retail air conditioning applications.
